Tour de France, Stage 13, A Sprinter's Tete a Tete

After the fast men of the Tour had contested the intermediate sprint Peter Sagan (Tinkoff Saxo) took the opportunity to complain (or perhaps apologize) for making contact with Andre Greipel (Lotto Soudal) for bumping shoulders as the pair fought for position in the sprint.  Looking on behind the conversation was John Degenkolb (Giant Alpecin) would had managed second on the sprint,  Greipel's first place in the sprint moved him back into the Maillot Vert of best sprinter on the road.  Depending on their placings at the finish in Rodez the Green Jersey may shift back to Greipel's shoulders.  The two sprinters have been spending the Tour trading sprints and the sprinter's jersey back and forth.  With the sharp climb at the end of the day, it is likely that Sagan will finish out the day still in green.

This is a small original watercolor and ink painting that was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.richesonart.com.  In addition, this painting is available through my artist website at www.greigleach.com.  To purchase this particular painting for only $60 USD, just follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Remember it is an original painting so when it is gone, it is gone.  I would advise against delaying if you see one you want.  International shipping is available.
