Tour de France, Stage 11: Cheered by His Countrymen

Tinkoff-Saxo had a rough day out yesterday.  Their team leader, Alberto Contador, lost time against all of his main rivals with maybe one possible exception.  Their sprinter, Peter Sagan, lost his Maillot Vert in the intermediate sprint.  So they left last year's double stage winner Rafal Majka to go free to see what he could accomplish for the team.  Majka was cheered by all of those along the road as he put in a solo effort to reach the end of the stage alone.  As he pressed on up the Col du Tourmalet he was saluted by his fellow Polish countrymen, some of home ran beside him waving their homeland's flag.

This is a small original watercolor and ink painting that was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.richesonart.com.  This painting is available through my artist website at www.greigleach.com.  To purchase this particular painting for just $60 USD, just follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Don't delay, this is a one of a kind original, so once it is gone, it is gone.
